AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2829
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2829, AS AMENDED,
with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
No. 1, on page 2, line 8, after "excludes", by inserting "(1)";
and
on page 2, line 9, after "properties", by inserting "and (2)
the area bounded by Washington Street on the north, Third
Street on the east, Cook Street on the south, and Walnut Street
on the west"; and
on page 3, immediately below line 17, by inserting the
following:
"(3) maintain the proper surroundings for a medical
center and a related technology center in order to
attract, stabilize, and retain within the District
hospitals, clinics, research facilities, educational
facilities, or other facilities permitted under this

on page 3, line 18, by replacing "(3)" with "(4)"; and
on page 3, line 22, by replacing "(4)" with "(5)"; and
