| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2252 on page 3, | ||||||
| 3 | line 6, after the period, by inserting "In this paragraph, "law | ||||||
| 4 | enforcement officer" means any person employed by a State, | ||||||
| 5 | county, municipality, special district, college, unit of | ||||||
| 6 | government, or any other entity authorized by law to employ | ||||||
| 7 | peace officers or exercise police authority and who is | ||||||
| 8 | primarily responsible for the prevention or detection of crime | ||||||
| 9 | and the enforcement of the laws of this State.".
