AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 2034
2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2034 as follows:
3on page 1, by replacing lines 16 through 18 with "least 2
4weeks."; and
5on page 5, by replacing lines 8 through 13 with "depositions
6and discovery and to issue subpoenas. After concluding its
7investigation, the Director shall notify all parties of the
8determination. The Director shall issue a notice of violation
9when the investigation has established that a violation of any
10part of this Act occurred or is occurring. The Department
11shall serve notice on the parties by certified U.S. mail,
12postage prepaid, return receipt requested, addressed to the
13last known address of the parties. Within 20 days after the
14date of service, a party may request a hearing by certified
15mail or personal delivery to the Department. Hearings shall be
16conducted pursuant to the provisions of Article 10 of the

1Illinois Administrative Procedure Act and the Department's
2rules of procedure in administrative hearings set forth in 56
3Ill. Adm. Code 120."; and
4on page 6, line 4, by replacing "60 days" with "one year".
