| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1941

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1941 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Workers' Occupational Diseases Act is | ||||||
| 5 | amended by changing Section 13 as follows:

| 6 | (820 ILCS 310/13) (from Ch. 48, par. 172.48)

| 7 | Sec. 13. The
The Illinois Workers' Compensation
Commission | ||||||
| 8 | shall have jurisdiction over the
operation and administration | ||||||
| 9 | of this Act and it shall have, exercise,
perform and discharge | ||||||
| 10 | the same rights, powers and duties with reference
to this Act | ||||||
| 11 | as it shall have, exercise, perform and discharge with
| ||||||
| 12 | reference to the Workers' Compensation Act or any amendment | ||||||
| 13 | thereto or
modification thereof. | ||||||
