| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1813 on page 1, | ||||||
| 3 | line 5, by changing "Section 35" to "Sections 35 and 70"; and

| 4 | on page 2, by inserting immediately below line 4 the following:

| 5 | "(775 ILCS 40/70)
| ||||||
| 6 | Sec. 70. Filing of claims. This Act applies to claims of | ||||||
| 7 | torture filed not later than 10 5 years after the effective | ||||||
| 8 | date of this Act.
