| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 986

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 986 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Child Care Act of 1969 is amended by adding | ||||||
| 5 | Section 4.6 as follows:

| 6 | (225 ILCS 10/4.6 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 4.6. Vaccination requirements for employees. No | ||||||
| 8 | person may be employed by a child care facility that cares for | ||||||
| 9 | children ages 6 and under unless that person shows proof of | ||||||
| 10 | having received 2 doses of the measles, mumps, and rubella | ||||||
| 11 | (MMR) vaccine or shows proof of immunity to MMR.".
