| 1 | AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 845

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 845, AS AMENDED, by | ||||||
| 3 | replacing everything after the enacting clause with the | ||||||
| 4 | following:
| ||||||
| 5 | "Section 5. The Probation and Probation Officers Act is | ||||||
| 6 | amended by changing Section 18 as follows:
| ||||||
| 7 | (730 ILCS 110/18) | ||||||
| 8 | Sec. 18. Probation and court services departments | ||||||
| 9 | considered pretrial services agencies. For the purposes of | ||||||
| 10 | administering the provisions of Public Act 95-773, known as the | ||||||
| 11 | Cindy Bischof Law and Public Act 98-1012, all probation and | ||||||
| 12 | court services departments are to be considered pretrial | ||||||
| 13 | services agencies under the Pretrial Services Act and under the | ||||||
| 14 | bail bond provisions of the Code of Criminal Procedure of 1963.
