AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 331
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 331, AS AMENDED,
with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
No. 1, on page 2, by replacing lines 3 through 5 with the
following:
"(1) an organization primarily engaged in the
construction or development of federally subsidized
housing, permanent supportive housing, or shelters;"; and
on page 2, by replacing lines 24 and 25 with the following:
"(1) owns in the aggregate 10 or more residential
properties;"; and
on page 3, by replacing lines 8 through 15 with the following:
""Residential property" means a building or group of
buildings operated as a single entity that contains between
one and 4 dwelling units."; and

on page 3, by replacing lines 20 through 24 with the following:
"year in excess of 10 residential properties. This fee shall
increase by 10% for every 10 residential properties owned in
excess of 10 residential properties not to exceed 50% of the
property value."; and
on page 9, line 22, by replacing "(Source: P.A. 102-16, eff.
6-17-21; 103-8, eff. 7-1-23.)" with the following:
"(Source: P.A. 102-16, eff. 6-17-21; 103-8, eff. 7-1-23.)
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July 1,
2027.".
