| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5440

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5440 by replacing | ||||||
| 3 | everything after the enacting clause with the following:

| 4 | "Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended by adding Section | ||||||
| 5 | 3.1-6.5 as follows:

| 6 | (520 ILCS 5/3.1-6.5 new) | ||||||
| 7 | Sec. 3.1-6.5. Youth landowner or tenant permit. A resident | ||||||
| 8 | or non-resident youth under the age of 18 may apply for a | ||||||
| 9 | landowner or tenant permit issued by the Department for | ||||||
| 10 | purposes of hunting on the property owned or leased by the | ||||||
| 11 | landowner or tenant, with the landowner's or tenant's consent, | ||||||
| 12 | regardless of whether or not the youth permanently resides on | ||||||
| 13 | the same property as the landowner or tenant.".
