| 1 | AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5057

| 2 | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5057 as follows:

| 3 | on page 11, line 20, by replacing "may" with "may, in its | ||||||
| 4 | discretion,"; and
| ||||||
| 5 | by replacing line 23 on page 11 through line 2 on page 12 with | ||||||
| 6 | the following:
| ||||||
| 7 | "third offense. If any violation is the cause or contributing | ||||||
| 8 | cause in a motor vehicle accident causing damage to property, | ||||||
| 9 | injury, or death to a person, the Department may, in its | ||||||
| 10 | discretion, not issue a permit to the person, firm, or | ||||||
| 11 | corporation for a period of one year".
