AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4247
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4247, AS AMENDED,
with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
2 as follows:
by replacing line 9 on page 1 through line 1 on page 2 with the
following:
""Convention or gathering of personnel" means a gathering
of employees, local elected or appointed officials, or
contractors from 2 or more separately domiciled or
geographically separated units of local government, school
districts, community college districts, or other local taxing
bodies. "Convention or gathering of personnel" also includes,
but is not limited to, leagues or associations that include 2
or more separate units of local government."; and
on page 2, immediately below line 21, by inserting the

"(e) This Section does not apply to public funds expended
for tourism or economic development in this State.".
