AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4247
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4247 on page 2,
immediately below line 5, by inserting the following:
"(d) As used in this Section, "appropriation" means
authority provided by law to a State agency that is part of the
executive branch, subject to the Governor, to spend State money
for a specific amount, purpose, and time period, whether as a
direct line item or as a lump sum, but not including any
reappropriation from a previous fiscal year or any continuing
appropriation.".
