AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4247
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4247 on page 2, by
replacing lines 20 through 23 with the following:
""Athletic trainer" means a licensed athletic trainer
hired by or contracted by a school district, charter school,
or nonpublic school to aid a public school or the charter
school or nonpublic school in the prevention, examination,
diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, and rehabilitation of
injuries."; and
on page 13, line 1, after "gym.", by inserting "If that
medication is not accessible from permanent storage, it is the
trained personnel's responsibility to transport the medication
from permanent storage to the event."; and
on page 23, immediately below line 10, by inserting the
following:
"(m) The changes made to this Section by this amendatory

appropriation.".
