AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4236
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4236 on page 57,
line 23, after "require", by inserting "electric"; and
on page 57, lines 23 and 24, by deleting "and alternative
retail electric suppliers"; and
on page 57, line 26, after "process.", by inserting "The
electric utilities shall assess a non-bypassable charge to
alternative retail electric suppliers for the recovery of
sourcing agreement costs, with such costs commensurate with the
share of the retail customer load served by individual
alternative retail electric suppliers."; and
on page 58, immediately below line 6, by inserting the
following:
"Electric utilities shall enter into sourcing agreements
with the Agency and Commission in an amount sufficient to

deliver electric services to their eligible retail customers,
retail customers of alternative retail electric suppliers, and
customers participating in an electric utility's real-time
pricing program in its service territory. Electric utilities
may file tariffs for the recovery of those costs from their
retail customers."; and
on page 58, line 14, after "with", by inserting "electric"; and
on page 58, line 15, by deleting "and alternate retail electric
suppliers".
