AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3301
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3301, AS AMENDED,
with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No.
1, on page 3, by replacing lines 15 through 21 with the
following:
"(d) A deputy clerk appointed under subsection (a) serving
at the time the office of township clerk is abolished under
Section 75-50 must be reappointed by the township board no
later than 60 days after the office of township clerk is
abolished in order to retain his or her position. After the
expiration of the"; and
on page 4, by line 6, by changing "abolished;" to "abolished at
the conclusion of the term of the township clerk serving on the
effective date of this amendatory Act of the 101st General
Assembly;"; and

on page 4, by replacing lines 7 and 8 with "and (ii) the Will
County Clerk assumes the duties"; and
on page 4, lines 11 and 12, by changing "effective date of this
