AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3177
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3177 as follows:
on page 1, by replacing line 8 with "6-306.5, and 11-208.3 as
follows:"; and
on page 17, by replacing lines 10 through 15 with:
"(c) For the purposes of this Code, a forfeiture of bail or
collateral deposited to secure a defendant's appearance in
court when forfeiture has not been vacated, or the failure of a
defendant to appear for trial after depositing his driver's
license in lieu of other bail, shall be equivalent to a
conviction."; and
on page 39, by replacing lines 14 through 16 with:
"26. Has altered or attempted to alter a license or has
possessed an altered license, identification card, or
permit;"; and

on page 41, by replacing lines 20 through 25 with:
"34. Has committed a violation of Section 11-1301.5 of
this Code or a similar provision of a local ordinance;
35. Has committed a violation of Section 11-1301.6 of
this Code or a similar provision of a local ordinance;";
and
on page 43, by replacing lines 9 through 15 with:
"45. Has, in connection with or during the course of a
formal hearing conducted under Section 2-118 of this Code:
(i) committed perjury; (ii) submitted fraudulent or
falsified documents; (iii) submitted documents that have
been materially altered; or (iv) submitted, as his or her
own, documents that were in fact prepared or composed for
another person;"; and
on page 43, by replacing lines 20 through 23 with:
"48. Has submitted a falsified or altered medical
examiner's certificate to the Secretary of State or
provided false information to obtain a medical examiner's
certificate."; and
by deleting line 15 on page 53 through line 5 on page 57; and
by deleting line 5 on page 64 through line 18 on page 65.
