AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1015
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1015 by replacing
everything after the enacting clause with the following:
"Section 5. The Environmental Protection Act is amended by
adding Section 22.02 as follows:
(415 ILCS 5/22.02 new)
Sec. 22.02. Manifests for hazardous waste. Except to the
extent required by federal law, generators and transporters of
hazardous waste and facilities accepting hazardous waste are
not required to submit copies of hazardous waste manifests to
the Agency. Nothing in this Section precludes the Agency from
collecting fees under subsection (g) of Section 22.8 of this
Act.
Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
becoming law.".
