AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 907
AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 907 by replacing
everything after the enacting clause with the following:
"Section 5. The Mental Health and Developmental
Disabilities Administrative Act is amended by adding Section 76
as follows:
(20 ILCS 1705/76 new)
Sec. 76. Mental health database and resource page. The
Department shall create and maintain an online database and
resource page on its website. The database and resource page
shall contain mental health resources specifically geared
towards school counselors, parents, and teachers with the goal
of connecting those people with mental health resources related
to bullying and school shootings and encouraging information
sharing among educational administrators, school security
personnel, and school resource officers.
