1.
Section
483A.24,
Code
2019,
is
amended
by
adding

the
following
new
subsection:

SUBSECTION

14A.
A
person
may
fish
on
a
private
lake

or
pond
without
a
license
if
the
person
first
obtains
consent
4
to
fish
on
the
lake
or
pond
from
the
owner
or
lessee
of
the

premises
on
which
the
private
lake
or
pond
is
located.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with

the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
allows
a
person
to
fish
on
a
private
lake
or
pond
10
without
a
license.
The
person
must
first
obtain
the
consent
of
11
the
owner
or
lessee
of
the
lake
or
pond
before
fishing.
