  1  1    Section 1.  SECONDARY ROAD INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS ====
  1  2 APPROPRIATION.  There is appropriated from the general fund
  1  3 of the state to the road use tax fund for the fiscal year
  1  4 beginning July 1, 2015, and ending June 30, 2016, the following
  1  5 amount, to be used for the purposes designated:
  1  6 .................................................. $ 99,000,000
  1  7    Notwithstanding section 312.2, 312.3, 312.3C, or 312.3D, or
  1  8 any other provision to the contrary, the moneys appropriated
  1  9 pursuant to this section shall be used for construction,
  1 10 reconstruction, and improvement projects on roads and bridges
  1 11 within the secondary road system.  The treasurer of state shall
  1 12 distribute the amount appropriated under this section for
  1 13 deposit in the secondary road funds of the counties on an equal
  1 14 basis.
  1 15                           EXPLANATION
  1 16 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
  1 17 the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly.
  1 18    This bill appropriates $99 million from the general fund
  1 19 of the state to the road use tax fund for FY 2015=2016 for
  1 20 construction, reconstruction, and improvement projects on roads
  1 21 and bridges within the secondary road system.  The bill directs
  1 22 the treasurer of state to distribute the $99 million to each
  1 23 county equally.
