Section
1.
Section
155A.18,
Code
2011,
is
amended
to
read

as
follows:

155A.18
Penalties.

The
board
shall
impose
penalties
as
allowed
under
section
4
272C.3
.
In
addition,
civil
penalties
not
to
exceed
twenty-five
5
one
hundred
thousand
dollars
,
may
be
imposed.

EXPLANATION

This
bill
increases
the
amount
of
the
additional
civil
8
penalty
that
may
be
imposed
by
the
board
of
pharmacy
from
9
$25,000
to
$100,000.
