  1  1    Section 1.  Section 514G.110, subsection 2, Code 2017, is
  1  2 amended by striking the subsection.
  1  3                           EXPLANATION
  1  4 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
  1  5 the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly.
  1  6    This bill strikes a provision requiring that a $25 filing fee
  1  7 accompany a request for independent review of a benefit trigger
  1  8 determination under a long=term care insurance policy.
