RULES.
The
department
of

human
services,
pursuant
to
chapter
17A,
shall
amend
441
IAC
3
109.10(1)(a)
to
provide
that
for
each
child
five
years
of
4
age
and
younger
not
enrolled
in
kindergarten,
the
child
care
5
center
shall
require
an
admission
physical
examination
report,
6
submitted
within
thirty
days
from
the
date
of
admission,
signed
7
by
a
health
care
provider
who,
in
addition
to
a
licensed
8
medical
doctor,
doctor
of
osteopathy,
physician
assistant,
9
and
advanced
registered
nurse
practitioner,
shall
include
a
10
chiropractor.

inclusion

this

does
not
constitute
agreement

the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
requires
the
department
of
human
services
to
amend

administrative
rules
regarding
health
and
safety
policies
for
16
child
care
centers
to
authorize
chiropractors,
in
addition
to
17
licensed
medical
doctors,
doctors
of
osteopathy,
physician
18
assistants,
and
advanced
registered
nurse
practitioners,
to
19
sign
an
admission
physical
examination
report
for
a
child
five
20
years
of
age
and
younger
not
enrolled
in
kindergarten
who
is
21
attending
the
child
care
center.
