Inspections
of
violations
1
of
retailers.

As
a
condition
for
issuance
of
a
permit
to,
and
as
a

condition
of
the
continued
holding
of
a
valid
permit
by,
4
a
retailer
as
defined
in
sections
453A.1
and
453A.42,
the
5
applicant
or
holder
must
give
consent
to
members
of
the
fire,
6
police,
and
health
departments
and
the
building
inspector
of
7
cities;
the
county
sheriff
or
deputy
sheriff;
members
of
the
8
department
of
public
safety;
representatives
of
the
department
9
of
revenue
and
of
the
department
of
inspections
and
appeals;
10
certified
police
officers;
and
any
official
county
health
11
officer
to
enter
upon
areas
of
the
premises
where
cigarettes,
12
tobacco,
tobacco
products,
alternative
nicotine
products,
or
13
vapor
products
are
possessed,
stored,
offered
for
sale,
sold,
14
or
otherwise
distributed
to
consumers
without
a
warrant
during
15
business
hours
of
the
permittee
to
inspect
for
violations
of
16
this
chapter
or
ordinances
and
regulations
that
cities
and
17
boards
of
supervisors
may
adopt.

This
bill
provides
that
as
a
condition
of
issuance
of
a

permit
to,
and
as
a
condition
of
the
continued

of
a

retailer,

persons

state
who

the

consumption,

cigarettes,
alternative
nicotine
products,
or
vapor
products;
7
and
persons
in
the
business
of
selling
tobacco,
tobacco
8
products,
alternative
nicotine
products,
or
vapor
products
to
9
ultimate
consumers.
