Iowa
Mold
Tooling
on
its
50th

anniversary.

WHEREAS,
Iowa
Mold
Tooling,
widely
known
as
simply

IMT,
was
founded
in
1961
as
a
business
creating
new
4
tire
tread
designs
for
recapping
tires;
and
5
WHEREAS,
IMT
immediately
began
to
innovate
and
6
diversify,
soon
offering
a
line
of
work
vehicles;
and
7
WHEREAS,
IMT
developed
a
line
of
lubrication
and
8
mechanics
trucks
that
would
allow
their
customers
to
9
service
their
equipment
on
site;
and
10
WHEREAS,
constant
development
and
expansion
required
11
even
more
plant
floor
space,
by
1990
reaching
300,000
12
square
feet;
and
13
WHEREAS,
today
IMT
offers
a
broad
and
growing
14
spectrum
of
specialty
vehicles
and
equipment;
and
15
WHEREAS,
as
IMT
continues
to
grow,
diversify,
and
16
prosper,
it
continues
to
maintain
its
small-town
roots
17
and
can-do
work
ethic;
NOW
THEREFORE,

BE
IT
RESOLVED
BY
THE
HOUSE
OF
REPRESENTATIVES,

That
the
House
of
Representatives
congratulates
Iowa

Mold
Tooling
for
half
a
century
of
innovation
and

excellence.
