  1  1    Section 1.  Section 176A.8, subsection 14, Code 2017, is
  1  2 amended to read as follows:
  1  3    14.  To file with the county auditor and to publish in
  1  4 two newspapers of general circulation in the district before
  1  5 August September 1 full and detailed reports under oath of all
  1  6 receipts, from whatever source derived, and expenditures of
  1  7 such county agricultural extension education fund showing from
  1  8 whom received, to whom paid and for what purpose for the last
  1  9 fiscal year.
  1 10                           EXPLANATION
  1 11 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with
  1 12 the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly.
  1 13    This bill relates to the required deadline for county
  1 14 agricultural extension councils to file and publish reports.
  1 15 The bill provides extension councils an additional month
  1 16 to prepare full and detailed reports of all receipts and
  1 17 expenditures from the county agricultural extension education
  1 18 fund.
