CHILD CARE PROVIDER REIMBURSEMENT RATES. For the 1 2 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2015, for child care providers 1 3 reimbursed under the state child care assistance program, 1 4 the department shall set provider reimbursement rates based 1 5 on the rate reimbursement survey completed in December 2014. 1 6 The department shall set rates in a manner so as to provide 1 7 incentives for a nonregistered provider to become registered 1 8 by applying the increase only to registered and licensed 1 9 providers. 1 10 EXPLANATION 1 11 The inclusion of this explanation does not constitute agreement with 1 12 the explanation's substance by the members of the general assembly. 1 13 This bill requires the department of human services to set 1 14 child care provider reimbursement rates under the state child 1 15 care assistance program based on the rate reimbursement survey 1 16 completed in December 2014. The department shall set rates 1 17 in a manner so as to provide incentives for a nonregistered 1 18 provider to become registered by applying the increase only to 1 19 registered and licensed providers.
