NEW
SECTION
.
468.12A
Abstract.
1
An
attorney
or
abstractor
who
prepares
an
abstract
of

title
for
land
located
within
an
existing
levee
or
drainage
3
district
shall
indicate
that
the
land
is
part
of
such
district.

The
county
where
the
land
is
located
shall
provide
records
5
necessary
for
the
attorney
or
abstractor
to
prepare
the
6
abstract.

EXPLANATION

This
bill
applies
to
land
located
within
a
levee
or
drainage
9
district.
An
attorney
or
abstractor
must
indicate
that
the
10
land
is
part
of
such
district
when
preparing
an
abstract
of
11
title.
The
county
where
the
land
is
located
must
provide
12
records
necessary
for
the
preparation.
