                             AN ACT
 CONCERNING THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE DUTIES OF THE
    COUNTY COMMISSIONS OF VETERAN AFFAIRS.

 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
    Section 1.  Section 35B.6, subsection 2, Code 2017, is
 amended by adding the following new paragraph:
    NEW PARAGRAPH.  c.  Neither a county board of supervisors
 nor a county commission of veteran affairs shall place the
 administration of the duties of the county commission of
 veteran affairs under any other agency of any county.
