                             AN ACT
 INCREASING THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE LENGTH FOR SINGLE
    TRUCKS OPERATED ON THE HIGHWAYS OF THIS STATE.

 BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF IOWA:
    Section 1.  Section 321.457, subsection 2, paragraph a,
 unnumbered paragraph 1, Code 2017, is amended to read as
 follows:
    A single truck, unladen or with load, shall not have an
 overall length, inclusive of front and rear bumpers, in excess
 of forty=one forty=five feet. When determining the overall
 length of a single truck, the following shall be excluded:
