1.
NEW
SECTION
.
146A.1
Prohibition
of
termination
1
of
pregnancy
by
telecommunications
technology
——
violations.
2
A
person
shall
not
cause
to
be
dispensed
to
a
pregnant
woman
3
via
telecommunications
technology,
including
but
not
limited
4
to
a
webcam
or
teleconferencing,
any
chemical
agent
or
drug
5
designed
to
terminate
a
human
pregnancy
with
the
intent
that
6
the
pregnant
woman
will
use
the
chemical
agent
or
drug
to
7
terminate
the
woman’s
pregnancy.
A
person
who
violates
this
8
section
and
is
regulated
by
a
health
profession
board
pursuant
9
to
chapter
147
is
subject
to
license
discipline
procedures
10
and
if
found
in
violation
shall
be
subject
to
the
maximum
11
discipline
applicable
by
the
professional
licensing
board
12
including
but
not
limited
to
revocation
of
licensure
and
civil
13
penalties.

The

This
bill
relates
to
the
use
of
telecommunications
18
technology
in
the
termination
of
a
pregnancy.
The
bill
19
prohibits
a
person
from
causing
to
be
dispensed
to
a
pregnant
20
woman
via
telecommunications
technology,
including
but
not
21
limited
to
a
webcam
or
teleconferencing,
any
chemical
agent
or
22
drug
designed
to
terminate
a
human
pregnancy
with
the
intent
23
that
the
pregnant
woman
will
use
the
chemical
agent
or
drug
24
to
terminate
the
woman’s
pregnancy.
A
person
who
violates
25
the
bill
and
is
regulated
by
a
health
profession’s
board
is
26
subject
to
license
discipline
procedures
and
if
found
in
27
violation
is
subject
to
the
maximum
discipline
applicable
by
28
the
professional
licensing
board
including
but
not
limited
to
29
revocation
of
licensure
and
civil
penalties.
