is
amended
by
striking
the
2
subparagraph.

EXPLANATION

The
inclusion
of
this
explanation
does
not
constitute
agreement
with
5
the
explanation’s
substance
by
the
members
of
the
general
assembly.

This
bill
eliminates
a
requirement
related
to
obtaining
7
a
transitional
coaching
authorization
from
the
board
of
8
educational
examiners
(BOEE).
Current
law
requires
an
9
individual
to
complete
a
shortened
course
of
training
relating
10
to
the
code
of
professional
rights
and
responsibilities,
11
practices,
and
ethics
developed
by
the
BOEE
for
transitional
12
coaches
before
the
individual
can
obtain
a
transitional
13
coaching
authorization.
The
bill
strikes
this
requirement.
14
The
bill
does
not
affect
other
requirements
associated
with
15
obtaining
a
transitional
coaching
authorization,
including
16
requirements
related
to
completion
of
child
and
dependent
adult
17
abuse
mandatory
reporter
training,
completion
of
concussion
18
in
youth
sports
training,
and
compliance
with
background
19
investigation
requirements.
