A RESOLUTION


Commending the Milton High School football team members selected to the first and second All Region 6-AAAAA football teams; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, the Milton High School football team members selected to the All Region 6-AAAAA football teams were decided by the region football coaches; and

WHEREAS, the team members selected for the first All Region 6-AAAAA football team are running back Treyvon Paulk, offensive lineman Josh Harris, defensive lineman Carl Lawson, and linebacker Justin Antolik; and

WHEREAS, the team members selected for the second All Region 6-AAAAA football team are wide receiver Ryan Jenkins, offensive lineman Corey Helms, athlete Kyle LeStrange, defensive lineman Brandon Nix, and defensive lineman Josh Manley; and

WHEREAS, the phenomenal performance of the these young men is a clear indication of the outstanding athletic ability, the dedication and hard work, and the unity of purpose and spirit of each member of the team; their superb talents; and the astute direction of Coach Tony Decristofaro; and

WHEREAS, as these magnificent players earned their well-deserved reputations for excellence by performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition, it is abundantly proper to recognize them.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body congratulate the Milton High School football team members selected to the first and second All Region 6-AAAAA football teams and extend their sincerest best wishes for future success.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Treyvon Paulk, Josh Harris, Carl Lawson, Justin Antolik, Ryan Jenkins, Corey Helms, Kyle LeStrange, Brandon Nix, and Josh Manley.
