A RESOLUTION


Commending Mr. Neil Clark; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mr. Neil Clark is widely recognized throughout the state as the personification of excellence in education; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Clark serves with honor and distinction as a counselor at The Walker School; and

WHEREAS, his hard work and dedication have been recognized by the National College Board by being named Counselor of the Year for the Southern Region of the United States; and

WHEREAS, his ability to lead by example and his compassion for the challenges and concerns of his students set him apart as a unique guidance counselor; and

WHEREAS, his significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable patience and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of his students has earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues, associates, and students; and

WHEREAS, he is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

WHEREAS, he is a shining example of the important impact that education professionals are making on the quality of education received by the children of this state and it is abundantly fitting and proper that his superlative accomplishments be recognized appropriately.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body heartily and gratefully commend Mr. Neil Clark for his many years of sacrifice, foresight, accomplishment, and contributions on behalf of education in Georgia and for the positive influence he has had upon the lives and futures of countless young people in this state.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Neil Clark.
