RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending the Tattnall County High School girls basketball team; and for
other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Tattnall County High School girls basketball team completed a successful
season and advanced to the second round of the GHSA Class AA State Championship
tournament; and
WHEREAS,
the Lady Warriors had a strong season but were defeated on the road by Augusta's
Laney High School despite a strong early effort; and
WHEREAS,
the team's spectacular season reflects the astute guidance and direction of
their talented coaches; and
WHEREAS,
this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputations for excellence by
performing with courage and precision over months of training and
competition.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
congratulate the Tattnall County High School girls basketball team on its
successful season and extend to the players best wishes on all their future
athletic endeavors.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the Tattnall County High
School girls basketball team.
