RESOLUTION
Congratulating
Puckett EMS; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Puckett EMS was recently named 2008 Small Business of the Year by the Cobb
County Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS,
under the guiding hands of President Steve Puckett and Vice President Shane
Garrison, this outstanding company has grown from its humble beginnings to
become one of the leading ambulance services providers in this state;
and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable corporate citizen has established a glowing reputation
throughout Georgia by offering highly trained employees familiar with the latest
treatment modalities, medications, and standards of care and committing to
giving back to the local community through their donations to nonprofit
organizations; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
amazing company be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
congratulate Puckett EMS on the occasion of its being named 2008 Small Business
of the Year, commend it for its many outstanding contributions on behalf of the
citizens of Georgia, and extend to it their best wishes for continued corporate
growth, development, and success in the future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Puckett EMS.
