WHEREAS,

congressional offices that represented the membership responsible for oversight
of the United States Coast Guard; and
WHEREAS,
the release of the Obama administration's FY-2012 budget included full
restoration of funding for the United States Coast Guard, including the Maritime
Safety and Security Team in St. Marys, Georgia; and

it is abundantly fitting and proper that the extraordinary accomplishments of
this distinguished American be appropriately recognized.
