RESOLUTION
Congratulating
Miss Maggie Sue Romeo on being the winner of the 2010
Live with Regis and
Kelly's Beautiful Baby Search contest; and
for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
as the winner of the 2010
Live with Regis and
Kelly's Beautiful Baby Search contest,
Miss Maggie Sue Romeo is also the winner of the
Parenting
Early Years magazine cover search and will take part in a photo shoot and appear
on the cover of the magazine; and
WHEREAS,
Miss Maggie Sue Romeo is also the recipient of a year's supply of products from
Gerber brand baby products; and
WHEREAS,
three-year-old Maggie Sue Romeo is from Braselton, Georgia, and was one of two
finalists from the great State of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
the top five finalists and their parents were flown to New York to appear on
Live with Regis and
Kelly; and
WHEREAS,
as the Grand Prize Winner, Miss Maggie Sue Romeo received $125,000 to be used
towards a four-year college education.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body
congratulate Miss Maggie Sue Romeo for winning the 2010
Live with Regis and
Kelly Beautiful Baby Search contest and
wish her the best for future success.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Miss Maggie Sue Romeo.
