A
RESOLUTION
Celebrating
the birth of Rylan Charles Adams; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
the months of anticipation and excitement shared by expectant parents are always
a cherished memory; and
WHEREAS,
for Shaun and Kristen Adams, those months ended on February 24, 2012, at 4:44
P.M., when they became the proud parents of their breathtaking baby, Rylan
Charles Adams; and
WHEREAS,
affectionately known as "The Rylan Express" for his four-week early arrival,
Rylan raced into the world at six pounds, 15 ounces and 19 and ½ inches;
and
WHEREAS,
Rylan was welcomed as the first grandchild and great-grandchild by his
grandparents Dawn Adams and Bill and Cheryl Harrier; and his great-grandparents
Bill and Joyce Kellar and Charles and Jean Adams; and
WHEREAS,
his middle name, Charles, was chosen in honor of Rylan's late paternal
grandfather, Charles Adams, Jr., who will watch over him from heaven; and
WHEREAS,
his mother will nurture and shower him with love and affection while his father
will provide an example of the kind of honest and hard-working man he will one
day become; and
WHEREAS,
the devotion, patience, and understanding that Shaun and Kristen demonstrate
daily provide the foundation and framework of love and success in which Rylan
will develop and flourish; and
WHEREAS,
Rylan's grandparents will spoil and love him every minute they can;
and
WHEREAS,
his family will love, support, and guide him through every step of his life so
that he will never be alone; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the birth of one of this state's newest
citizens be recognized in an appropriate manner.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body recognize
the very happy occasion of the birth of Rylan Charles Adams and extend to him
their most sincere best wishes for a long and healthy life and great happiness
and success.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Shaun and Kristen Adams.
