RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mr. Brian Scudder, 2011 Firefighter of the Year; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. Brian Scudder has been named the 2011 Firefighter of the Year;
and
WHEREAS,
he has a wealth of knowledge and is known to be an exceptional teacher as he
enjoys assisting others in their learning; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Scudder is a strong, competent firefighter and an integral member of his
department; and
WHEREAS,
his significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable patience
and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of the
citizens of this state have earned him the respect and admiration of his
colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SENATE that the members of this body commend
Mr. Brian Scudder for his unselfish and dedicated service and recognize him as
the 2011 Firefighter of the Year.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Secretary of the Senate is authorized and directed
to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Brian Scudder.
