BILL TO BE ENTITLED
AN ACT
AN ACT
To
amend Code Section 16-13-71 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating
to the definition of a dangerous drug, so as to remove the exception for
pseudoephedrine in a single dose unit of 60 milligrams or less; to repeal
conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
BE
IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF GEORGIA:
SECTION
1.
Code
Section 16-13-71 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the
definition of a dangerous drug, is amended by repealing paragraph (23) of
subsection (c), which reads as follows:
"(23)
Pseudoephedrine — when a single dosage unit is 60 mg. or less or when
manufactured in an extended release form with a dosage unit of 240 mg. or
less;"
and
by renumbering paragraph (23.5) of said subsection as paragraph
(23).
SECTION
2.
All
laws and parts of laws in conflict with this Act are repealed.
