RESOLUTION
Commending
Juliana Rose Davis, Armuchee High School's 2009 STAR Student; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
a proper quality education for the young people of this state is the single most
important objective of the General Assembly; and
WHEREAS,
Juliana Rose Davis has shown by the example of her academic accomplishments that
the pursuit and attainment of scholastic success are within the reach of the
students in this state; and
WHEREAS,
this remarkable scholar has earned distinction through her superlative
achievements at Armuchee High School where she was a gifted student and was
selected as Armuchee High School's 2009 STAR Student; and
WHEREAS,
she has personified the selfless dedication, mental agility, verbal adroitness,
and personal maturity necessary for superlative academic performance;
and
WHEREAS,
in addition to academic excellence, Juliana has established a reputation as a
talented musician, singing for four years in the Georgia Music Educators
Association's all-state chorus; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia looks with great anticipation toward the future of this
bright and promising young citizen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body heartily commend Juliana Rose Davis for her spectacular scholastic
endeavors and express to her their most sincere best wishes for continued
academic success in the future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Juliana Rose
Davis.
