RESOLUTION
Congratulating
the Loganville Christian Academy varsity boys basketball team on winning the
2009 ICSGA State Championship and inviting them to appear before the House of
Representatives; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
for the third year in a row, the Loganville Christian Academy varsity boys
basketball team earned the top ranking in the state through perseverance,
determination, and dedication; and
WHEREAS,
the ICSGA championship title-earning win capped an impressive record of 72-2 for
the school for the past three years; and
WHEREAS,
the phenomenal performance of the team is a clear indication of the outstanding
athletic ability, the dedication and hard work, and the unity of purpose and
spirit of each member of the team; their superb offensive and defensive talents;
and the astute direction of Head Coach Mark Davis, assistant coaches Jeff Cole,
Luke Wilkerson, and Kevin O'Neal, and team manager Jared Brooks;
and
WHEREAS,
the 2009 Loganville Christian Academy varsity boys basketball team is composed
of talented athletes Michael Anderson, Conner Austin, Austin Davis, Brooks
Driver, Brand Driver, Daniel Miller, Taylor O'Neal, Andre Jones, Ricky Heard,
Jordan Hancock, Harrison Monda, Joseph Miller, and Mitch Lee; and
WHEREAS,
as this magnificent team earned its well-deserved reputation for excellence by
performing with courage and precision over months of training and competition,
it is abundantly proper to call them champions.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate the Loganville Christian Academy varsity boys basketball
team for winning the 2009 ICSGA State Championship and extend their sincerest
best wishes for future success.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the players and coaches of the Loganville Christian
Academy varsity boys basketball team are hereby invited to appear before the
House of Representatives at a date and time to be fixed by the Speaker of the
House for purposes of being recognized by the House and receiving an appropriate
copy of this resolution.
