RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Petite Miss Dacula 2010 Taylor Allen; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
Taylor Allen has shown by the example of her academic accomplishments and
extracurricular involvement that the pursuit and attainment of excellence are
within the reach of the students in this state; and
WHEREAS,
a first grader at Dacula Elementary School, Taylor recently earned the
prestigious title of Petite Miss Dacula 2010; and
WHEREAS,
committed to uplifting the lives of others through service to her community,
Taylor has been an active volunteer with Bark for Life, Gwinnett Relay for Life,
Fallen Hero's Memorial Run, and Dacula Cluster PTA; and
WHEREAS,
Taylor is the recipient of the Perfect Attendance Award, the Super Health Bug
Award, and the Fabulous Falcon Award; and
WHEREAS,
she is a role model to her peers and a school leader at Dacula Elementary
School, receiving the Silver Presidential Medal for Civic Service and
Volunteerism when she was only five years old; and
WHEREAS,
Taylor enjoys singing, dancing, tumbling, and participating in competitive
cheerleading with Dacula IMPACT; and
WHEREAS,
by her many achievements, grace, and poise, Taylor has brought credit to her
parents, her community, her school, and this state; and
WHEREAS,
all Georgians are proud of young ladies who, like Taylor, represent the very
best that this state has to offer; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia looks forward with great anticipation to the promising and
bright future of this remarkable young citizen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body congratulate Taylor Allen on being named Petite Miss Dacula 2010 and
extend to her best wishes for her near and distant future.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Petite Miss
Dacula 2010 Taylor Allen.
