A RESOLUTION


Recognizing and commending The Walker School girls tennis team; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, The Walker School girls tennis team has secured a reputation for greatness in scholastic and athletic achievements; and

WHEREAS, this talented team captured the AA state tennis championship for the second year in a row; and

WHEREAS, with the guidance, experience, and encouragement of Head Coach Jan Steffen, this phenomenal group of athletes' consecutive triumph marks the fourth state championship title since 2003 and sixth in The Walker School's girls tennis program history; and

WHEREAS, the dedication, hard work, and sportsmanship displayed by each team member exemplifies the quality of student athlete produced by The Walker School.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend The Walker School girls tennis team for its unparalleled achievements in winning the AA state championship title and extend their sincerest best wishes for continued success in the future.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Head Coach Jan Steffen.
