RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending the Northview High School Chamber Orchestra; and for other
purposes.
WHEREAS,
the Northview High School Chamber Orchestra has long been recognized for the
musical talent of each of its members and the outstanding musical direction and
leadership of its director, Tim Aucoin; and
WHEREAS,
the Titans were invited to perform for the 62nd Midwest Band and Orchestra
Clinic in Chicago, Illinois; and
WHEREAS,
this conference is the largest gathering of music educators in the world, and it
is an incredible honor to be selected to perform at this prestigious event;
and
WHEREAS,
only six orchestras nationwide are selected to perform at the Midwest Band and
Orchestra Clinic, and Northview's invitation is truly an amazing accolade for
the students, the director, and the school; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the teamwork, dedication, and
achievements of this talented and hardworking group of young men and women be
recognized appropriately.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body recognize and commend the Northview High School Chamber Orchestra on
being selected to perform at the 62nd Midwest Band and Orchestra Clinic and for
its many contributions to Northview High School and the State of
Georgia.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to the Northview
High School Chamber Orchestra.
