RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Mr. Carl Porter Beasley on 30 years of service to local
communities and the State of Georgia; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
Mr. Carl Porter Beasley has long been recognized by the citizens of this state
for the vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal
commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and
WHEREAS,
he has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time,
talents, and energy for the last 30 years toward the betterment of his community
and state; and
WHEREAS,
Mr. Beasley's significant organizational and leadership talents, his remarkable
patience and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the
needs of the citizens of this state have earned him the respect and admiration
of his colleagues and associates; and
WHEREAS,
he is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for
integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that the outstanding accomplishments of this
remarkable and distinguished Georgian be appropriately recognized.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Mr. Carl Porter Beasley for his 30 years of efficient,
effective, unselfish, and dedicated service to local communities and the State
of Georgia.
BE
IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Carl
Porter Beasley.
