A RESOLUTION


Recognizing and commending Mr. Ray Hudalla on his outstanding public service; and for other purposes.

WHEREAS, Mr. Ray Hudalla has long been recognized by the citizens of this state for the vital role that he has played in leadership and his deep personal commitment to the welfare of the citizens of Georgia; and

WHEREAS, he has diligently and conscientiously devoted innumerable hours of his time, talents, and energy toward the betterment of his community and state as evidenced dramatically by his superlative service with the Henry County Board of Education since 1998; and

WHEREAS, during his 12 years as a member of the Henry County Board of Education, Mr. Hudalla has provided unparalleled leadership and guidance as chairman since 2003 with fiscally sound decision making and effective leadership; and

WHEREAS, his remarkable patience and diplomacy, his keen sense of vision, and his sensitivity to the needs of the citizens of this state have earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and associates; and

WHEREAS, he is a person of magnanimous strengths with an unimpeachable reputation for integrity, intelligence, fairness, and kindness; and

WHEREAS, Mr. Hudalla has served with honor and distinction with the Henry County Board of Education, and his vision and unyielding commitment to the education of the future leaders of this state has set the standard for public service; and

WHEREAS, in recognition of his contributions to the students in this state, it is abundantly fitting and proper for this body to honor the extraordinary commitment and accomplishments of this outstanding individual.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of this body commend Mr. Ray Hudalla for his efficient, effective, unselfish, and dedicated public service to the State of Georgia; recognize the positive influence he has had upon the lives and futures of countless young people in this state; and extend to him their most sincere best wishes for continued health and happiness.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Mr. Ray Hudalla.
