RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending Jordan Flowers; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
through training, talent, and determination, the Westminster Schools' boys cross
country runner Jordan Powers earned the top ranking in the state with his win at
the State Championship; and
WHEREAS,
with the training of Coach Joe Tribble, Jordan was able to attain a boys cross
country time of 16 minutes and 32 seconds; and
WHEREAS,
by his many achievements, grace, and positive attitude, Jordan has brought
credit to his parents, his community, his school, and this state;
and
WHEREAS,
all Georgians are proud of young men who, like Jordan, represent the very best
that this state has to offer; and
WHEREAS,
the State of Georgia looks with great anticipation toward the future of this
bright and promising young citizen.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body heartily commend Jordan Flowers for his spectacular scholastic
endeavors, congratulate him on winning the State Championship for boys cross
country at the Westminster Schools, and express to him their most sincere best
wishes for continued success in the future.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Jordan
Flowers.
