RESOLUTION
Recognizing
and commending The Brickery in Sandy Springs, Georgia, on the occasion of its
20th anniversary; and for other purposes.
WHEREAS,
The Brickery was founded on February 3, 1992, by Bruce and Sally Alterman who
have been residents and supporters of Sandy Springs for 37 years;
and
WHEREAS,
over the last 20 years, The Brickery has been described as a genuine "Mom and
Pop" type of restaurant where politicians, bible study groups, neighbors,
business people, and families all gather to enjoy the restaurant's community
atmosphere; and
WHEREAS,
The Brickery has provided the community of Sandy Springs with a wonderful
small-town feel restaurant in the big city area; and
WHEREAS,
it is abundantly fitting and proper that The Brickery be appropriately
recognizing during this special time.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES that the members of
this body commend Bruce and Sally Alterman for their commitment to supplying
heartfelt and delicious meals to be enjoyed by the community and congratulate
this Georgia landmark on the grand occasion of its 20th anniversary.

IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the House of Representatives is authorized
and directed to transmit an appropriate copy of this resolution to Bruce and
Sally Alterman.
